Explanation:
There are different kinds of animal cells which perform different functions. However, the basic function of animal cells is to help the body grow. White Blood Cells do this by protecting us from foreign organisms, nerve cells do this by helping the body stay coordinated, red blood cells do this by transporting wastes and nutrients to appropriate body parts. There are, obviously, more kinds of cells with other functions.
Answer:
1.The plasma membrane is the protective outer layer that lets certain things in and out.
2.The cytoplasm is located inside the cell and is a watery substance that floats in the cell and contains all the organelles.
3. Ribosomes are the little grains that float inside of the cell and their purpose it to make proteins.
4.The nucleus of the cell has the DNA, which contains 23 pairs of chromosomes or 46 in total.
5.The nuclear membrane surrounds the nucleus and controls what goes in and out.
6. The rough endoplasmic reticulum is a bunch of folded membranes that are spotted with ribosomes. This organelle makes new proteins and new membranes.
7.Smooth endoplasmic reticulum forms transport vesicles that are used to shift around the inside of the cell.
8.The goloi apparatus package up things that are to be transported around the cell or that need to leave.
9.The lysosomes are vesicles that use digestive enzymes to break down unnecessary things in the cell and kill bacteria.
10. Vacuoles are large membrane sacs that help store things.
11.The mitochondria are double membrane that fold onto itself and form cristae. There are enzymes located inside that break down sugars to make ATP,which can be used as energy for the cell. Mitochondria also contains DNA, ribosomes, and can produce their own protein.
hope this helps :)
