A function is considered a function, from the fact every X value has one Y value. However, this does not mean every Y value has one X value. Because we have the coordinates of f(g) we can plot them onto a graph and preform the vertical line test to check if f(g) is a function. f(g) passes the vertical line test (look at the practice section to see the visual).
