So an informational essay gives info and tries to not get your reader bored. For an intro give some background on the topic. Remember an intro doesn’t have to be long. 3-4 sentences should be fine. Some people like to give definitions in their intro to define what they’re talking about. Give a few facts about the topic. Don’t go too much into the topic because an intro is just a start not the body. My intros usually are a few facts and details about the topic nothing too major and just move on.
