Callie has 11 dollars and 33 cents. The cookies she plans on is $2.25. She has about 5 friends she plans on buying cookies. Will she be able to buy each friend a cookie?

Yes, she will be able to buy a total of 5 cookies
yes she will (seeing there are no taxes and things like that AND she is not buying one for herself)

2.25 x 5 = 11.25
so she will have 8 cents left

If she is buying one for herself, she will not have enough to buy everyone a cookie
