EXPLAINATION:
Before 1828, it was believed that organic compound need a vital force for the preparation of organic compound which was provided by only living things such as animals and plants. Thus, people believed that organic compounds can not be made by using inorganic compounds. BUT WOHLER PROVED THEM WRONG. In 1828 F. Wöhler made UREA which is a organic compound using the Ammonium cyanate which is inorganic compound. Wöhler boiled ammonium cyanate in water which resulted in the formation of Urea.
