why is there like 4 or 5 different police cars when only one person is running,i know there is theft but even if the person just ran from getting a ticket for driving or something.why are there more than at least 2 police cars instead of having like 4 or 5 different police cars?

The reason why there is 4 to 5 police cars when someone runs is because they don't know if the guy/girl is armed. And also he could get away so they have 2 police cars cut him off so they can catch him.
