A customer tells you that they “must have” a particular item that you are out of in your store. You can tell that the customer is impatient and appears to be becoming frustrated. They explain to you that this is the second time they have been to the store to find a product they want is out of stock. Your supervisor is unavailable as they are working with another customer. Briefly describe how you would handle this.

Respuesta :

well, if you are out of something and you tell the customer and tell him/her that when the product restocks, 10% of the price is off

I would keep calm and try to reassure the client. If I do not really have the product in the store, I would look for a substitute product to see customer acceptance. If he does not accept it, I apologize and ask if he or she wants to leave his or her contact so I can contact him when the product arrives at the store.
