The population of the U.S. in 2014 was 319 million and the population of Columbus Ohio was 823,000 in 2014. How many times larger was the population of the U.S. than Columbus, Ohio?

These are the steps I took to solve this problem:
1.)   319 million is 319,000,000 (6 zeros).
2.)   319,000,000 divided by 823,000 is 387.606318348. (I did this step to find how many "times larger")
3.)   The U.S. is about 388 times larger than Columbus, Ohio.
