1. Authoritarian parenting is well described as its name, a parenting technique that is firm and extremely strict. As a parent or caregiver with authoritarian parenting techniques, they focus on discipline, obedience, control, and authority over their child rather than nurturing them. They have high expectations on the child/children, expect them to not make any mistakes, perform with 120% rather than only 100%. In a way, the child has to stay in line. One simple accident or mistake, and it would not follow with the parents standards.
Authoritative parenting is somewhat similar to Authoritarian parenting, meaning that they do set boundaries, limits, and rules for the child to abide and follow along with. The difference is that authoritative parents listen and support their children's needs. Instead of being strict and expecting the child to learn everything by themselves, they lead their children through honest discussions, teach them values, and encourage independence. Authoritative parents do not necessarily "hold" their child's hand or "spoon feed" them the rest of their life, but when the child is having difficulty, the parents will step in to guide them and teach them what they need to do.
Permissive parenting is the complete opposite of what Authoritative and Authoritarian parenting is. Permissive parenting is the style of parenting that is being warm, nurturing, and caring towards the child/children, and oppose against setting boundaries or limits. With this type of parenting, they let the child have leisure time, let them behave however they want, and they do not see anything wrong in how the child acts. With permissive parenting, the parents do not let their child do any work or chores. Or if they do ask the child to do something, they will ask them to do a certain task, but only if they want to. This type of parenting lets children not life a single finger because their parents already do everything for them. And when the child is having difficulty, instead of letting them problem solve; the parents "hold their hand" or "spoon feed" them the rest of the way rather than letting them learn.
