For each of the following statements, indicate if it describes weather or climate, and briefly explain why. If you think a statement could describe both weather or climate, explain why that could be.
1.It has not snowed yet today.
2.In October, temperatures begin to drop.
3.This summer should be hotter than normal.
4.The humidity dropped overnight.
5.A thunderstorm cancelled our softball game.
6.It has never gone below 32°F in the month of December.
7.The high temperature yesterday was 10 degrees above normal.
8.The clouds are rolling in.
9.One of the strongest blizzards hit New York in February 2007, leaving about 6 feet of snow.
10.Texas is hot and humid and Arizona is hot and dry during the summer.
11.The skies were clear until an hour ago.
12.The air pressure dropped.
13.We had a lot more rain last year than this year.
14.Another tornado hit Kansas City.
15.Winds blew at 35 mph today.

Here is the difference between a climate and a weather that will help explain the given statements. When we say climate, this is the weather condition that exist in an area or a particular region over a LONG PERIOD OF TIME. On the other hand, weather is the state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc. This changes often.
So here are the answers.
1. Weather
2. Climate
3. Weather
4. Weather
5. Weather
6. Weather
7. Weather
8. Weather
9. Climate
10. Climate
11. Weather
12. Weather
13. Climate
14. Weather
15.Weather

[1]: Weather.

Why? - The answer is weather because it is a temporary thing, climate is the average weather in a certain area.

[2]: Weather.

Why? - Weather includes changes in temperature for a specific time of year and just in general.

[3]: Climate/Weather.

Why? - Based off of the typical weather conditions for that particular region, you should be able to tell how warm it will be based off the climate it normally is because climate is long-term. It could sort of be weather too because temperature differences, but I still believe it's more likely climate related.

[4]: Weather.

Why? - Weather also has to do with humidity, therefore it is weather.

[5]: Weather.

Why? - Weather includes precipitation and rain/thunderstorms are a form of precipitation, therefore the answer is weather.

[6]: Climate/Weather.

Why? - Climate because if the region is normally a certain temperature, then the region is more likely to stay within that temperature range. Weather has to do with temperature, so it could also be weather.

[7]: Climate/Weather.

Why? - Once again, just like statement 6, it could go either way. Temperature is involved with weather, but it could also be climate.

[8]: Weather.

Why? - Clouds are a form of precipitation.

[9]: Climate.

Why? - Weather extremes are included in Climate, therefore it's climate.

[10]: Climate/Weather.

Why? - Humidity is a part of weather so it could be weather. Climate is also a part of this because the typical weather for Arizona/Texas is hot, dry, humid.

[11]: Weather.

Why? - A sudden change (over a short period of time) is weather. Weather is very unpredictable and can change fairly quickly.

[12]: Weather.

Why? - Weather because if the air pressure/wind suddenly dropped, that's weather because weather happens over a short period of time.

[13]: Climate/Weather.

Why? - Rain/precipitation has to do with the weather. It can also be climate because this weather change didn't happen very quickly, it happened over the span of a year, so it could be climate because climate is long-term.

[14]: Climate.

Why? - Climate deals with weather extremes. A tornado is a weather extreme, therefore it's climate.

[15]: Weather.

Why? - Weather includes wind, therefore the answer is weather.

I hope this helps, I tried my best, I apologize if it's wrong. :)
