The equation of this reaction is;

CaCl2 + Na2CO3 ------>CaCO3 + 2NaCl

Number of moles of CaCO3 produced = 500g/100g/mol = 5 moles

If the reaction is in a mole ratio of 1:1 then i need 5 moles of CaCl2 and 5 Moles of Na2CO3.

Mass of CaCl2 required = 5 moles * 111 g/mol = 555 g

Mass of Na2CO3 required = 5 moles * 106 g/mol  = 530 g
