An ecosystem has been interrupted by an invasive species. A new grass eating lizard lives in the same ecosystem as a grass eating rabbit. Hawks eat both lizards and rabbits. What would happen to the grass and hawk populations immediately? Why?
There would be more hawks appearing because there is more food (both lizards and rabbits) and grass would lessen because there is another source feeding off of it.
