Possessions
by A. Gautam
I want to pack up
the folds of your skin
when you smile,
and the magic in your eyes
when you are my sunflower at dusk.
I am your shooting star.
I want to wrap it all
with a red ribbon
in a blue box—
everything erasable or debatable—
the little things I lose
when I pack up and move.
