To write a summary it is necessary that the original text be read and interpreted. As an interpretation is a very personal thing, I cannot write a summary for you, but I will show you how it can be done.

A summary refers to the presentation of a text in a reduced form, presenting only the main ideas that the text presents.

In this case, to write an summary, you must:

  • Read the entire text and understand all the ideas presented.
  • Re-read the entire text, highlighting the most important sentences.
  • Rewrite all these sentences, using other words but keeping their meaning.

Regarding the interpretation of the proverbs, you will also need to read them and see how the message contained in them can fit into today's society and the way people live.
