Could someone please explain this to me in more simpler words? I am not the best at understanding scientific words

In simpler words this is telling you to make, preform, and explain an investigation to gather evidence that proves that the process of  photosynthesis converts light from the sun by making a model or picture of carbon dioxide going into the leef and oxygen  coming out at a rate (speed) that you can mesure.
