There are several types of movies produced in the world today. Movies like Star Wars, The Fugitive, Witness, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Die Hard are known to be an examples of the three-act structure.
These movies follow the three-act structure by showcasing true beginnings, middles, and ends with regular forward progress as every scene leads towards the finale.
Note that all the scene matters because as each scene moves forward, it carries the weight or momentum of the story forward in natural growth so as to avoid excesses.
what I like about the plot structure is that there is the setup of the character and their world are well arranged , filled with suspense and that is accompanied by a conflict that they are made to face or choose to take on, and this often led to a resolution.
What I dislike about the plot structure is that some of the plots have too much unrealistic or not feasible actions.
