Describe how the diaphragm and the rib cage and lungs move during inhalation and
exhalation.

this is science pls help

Answer:

During inhalation, the diaphragm contracts and pulls downwards, the ribcage expands, allowing oxygen to be sucked in through negative pressure, which causes the lungs to inflate.

During exhalation, the diaphragm and ribcage relax, returning to their normal positions, allowing the oxygen out of the body, thus deflating the lungs.
