1. According to the statistics Mr. Bryan Stevenson cited, the United States has become the nation with the most incarceration of persons in the world with about 2 million prisoners.
2. The state of Alabama, including a number of other states, are permanently disenfranchising people with criminal records. Imprisonment should not be the basis for lifelong disenfranchisement.
3. I totally agree with Mr. Stevenson's assertion that the justice system treats the rich and guilty with more respect than the poor and innocent.

Thus, there is the need for a radical change of the American justice system to ensure that injustice based on racial discrimination is not enthroned.
