How you can check to make sure your work is error-free is by:

  • Placing a ruler under each line as you are reading it
  • If you are able to, try checking your work when you are the most alert so it can be easier to track a mistake
  • Try to read it out loud if you are comfortable with that
  • You can have a friend, family member, or teacher help read it and check over it
  • Think about the common mistakes you make
  • If your work is computer written then you can use a spell checker app such as Grammarly
  • Read over your work at least two or three times
