PLEASE HELP!!

What would happen if O2 were added to N2(g) + O2(g) = 2NO(g) at equilibrium?

A. More N2 and O2 would form.

B. More NO would form.

C. More O2 would form.

D. More N2 and NO would form.

Respuesta :

  • At equilibrium the reaction remains constant means mass of reactants is equal to mass of products.

O_2 is a reactant .

The reaction is

[tex]\\ \tt\longrightarrow N_2+O_2\leftrightharpoons 2NO[/tex]

  • If we increase O_2 then mass of reactants would increase too .
  • So inorder to attain equilibrium position more NO would form.

Option C is correct
