leads people to betray the people that they are close

this has happend to me before I got betreyed by my friend i was getting bullied and i though my friend came to help me but for no reason he hit me in the face .

i think this happens because they go trhough things
what leads people intro betrayal is most likely them trying to get some sort of revenge or they just dislike the person (at least this is what i think)
