Helmholtz Watson seems to do well in the World State. He is well-liked, strong, intelligent and attractive. He is also very popular with girls. However, he is not fully satisfied with the state he lives in. Helmholtz can see, despite his advantages, that he is too strong for this state. The context in which he lives stifles him with its shallowness. However, it is unclear whether he can really separate himself from his context and embrace passion, intellectual pursuit and depth.
