The war had started over territorial disputes between the French and the English. The fighting would take place on American soil. This meant that the inhabitants of America would also be affected. The Native American Indians would reluctantly ally themselves with the French and British. On either side they played an important military role. However, the concerns of the Indians and colonists were never considered. A tension was growing between the British and colonists, which would lead to something much larger than even the French and Indian War.
