1. States have the right to maintain their roads and speed limits. You see this when driving across the United States, some states do a better job maintaining their roads, and some states have higher speed limits than others.
2. States have a right to determine who and how old you can be when you get married? Once again, some states allow multiple gender marriages while others only accept a traditional view, and the age you can get married varies from state to state.
3. States are enumerated to make any laws which are not defined in the United States Constitution or Bill of Rights. Some states have banned certain types of guns, and some states allow any type of weapon. The lines between the state enumerated laws and federal laws can seem blurry at times, but the states do reserve and use these powers when needed.
