If both events happened in 2000 and the Summer Olympics have a 4 year cycle and the United States Census have a 10 year cycle then the next Summer Olympics would be in 2004 and the next United Sates Census would be in 2010. You add 4 years to 2000 for the Summer Olympics and add 10 years to 2000 to find out when the next U.S. Census will be!
