This should be correct

1/10 + 1/16 = 1/t

8/80 + 5/80 = 1/t

13/80 = 1/t

Cross multiply

13(t) = 1(80)

13t = 80

t = 6.15

It would take them 6.15 hours to complete the roof together.

z = (x*y)/(x+y)

They will take about 6.15 hours if they work together, and if neither person slows the other down.
