What is air pollution?

Older automobiles without catalytic converters would directly release these three, as well as tetraethyl lead from leaded gasoline used in the developed world until the 1980s. Meanwhile, diesel vehicles must contend with particulate matter and sulfur dioxide.
Cars and buses affect the environment by emitting considerable amounts of nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, and other air pollutants. Buses and autos emit pollutants into the atmosphere.
