To describe the illustration, you can use sentences in the Present, as well as identify the objects that can be seen there.

How to describe an Image in Spanish?

To describe an image in Spanish, you must observe all those elements that are in it, identify their translation and use them, an example of this could be:

"En esta ciudad la biblioteca y el museo se encuentran justo uno al lado del otro, así como la estación de policía y el hospital se encuentran cerca. Por su parte, frente al zoológico puedes encontrar un pequeño parque para niños, donde ellos suelen jugar."

Additionally, you could comment on the animals that are in the zoo, or the proximity between the cinema and the mall, among other things that are observed there.
