D. Russia
One of the two main coalitions that fought in World War One was the Central Powers, commonly referred to as the Central Empires (1914–18). It was also known as the Quadruple Alliance and included the German Empire, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and the Kingdom of Bulgaria.
