Modern builders are worried and nervous
Due to its slant, the Leaning Tower of Pisa is a well-known structure in Italy. During construction in the 1200s, the tower started to lean, and it only got worse. The tower's builders proposed different theories to explain this. The tower's foundation was ultimately thought to be too soft, so they attempted to fix it by creating upper levels with one side taller than the other.
The tower is still standing today, despite being slanted. Modern builders have made numerous attempts and been successful in keeping the tower leaning but standing. It used to lean at an inclination of roughly 5.5 degrees, but it now leans at about 3.99 degrees.
