1. In case of a weak acid/strong base titration:
• At the beginning, the pH changes very slowly and eventually indicates the formation of a buffer system.

2. In case of strong acid/strong base titration :
• The equivalence point is reached when the moles of acid and base are equal.
,• Neutralisation point occurs at pH=7
,• strong acid and strong base titration will give a salt only.
3. In case of weak acids/weak bases
• weak acids/bases have an initial curvature in their titration curves while strong acids/bases do not
,• weak acid are not fully ionised in a solution
,• upon titration, they are gradually ionised which reaches an observed curvature .
,• Srong acids are already ionised, they do not show any curvature.
