Surprisingly, or maybe not, what is considered unethical activity is completely bound by current societal standards. What was once the standard a century ago may now be deemed extremely terrible. On the one hand, this constantly changing understanding of morality is a sign of development.
Unethical behavior:
Unethical behavior is defined as behavior that goes against what is ethically good for a person, a business, a profession, or in politics. It may also refer to a person's behavior that deviates from the values held dear in the community in which he lives. Dumping pollutants into the water supply rather than adequately cleaning up the pollution, releasing poisons into the air at amounts exceeding what the environmental protection agency allows. Professional unethical behavior is defined as an act that violates professional ethics. An external auditor of a company must disclose financial information that is complete, fair, accurate, timely, and understandable.
