American psychologist and adviser on workplace and organizational difficulties, Harry Levinson. He was a pioneer in the combination of management and leadership with psychoanalytic philosophy. He made a connection between low productivity and employee despair caused by managers' inability to effectively manage employees' worries. According to Levinson, a person's life is made up of the pre-adult stage, early adulthood transition, early adult stage, midlife stage, middle adult stage, late adult stage, and late adult stage. Levinson also thought that going through a midlife crisis was a frequent and natural aspect of growing up. Ages 0 to 22 correspond to the pre-adult stage, 17 to 45 to the early adult stage, 40 to 65 to the middle adult stage, 60 to 85 to the late late adult stage.
