Jeff rode his bike around a bike trail that was 1/3 of a mile long. He rode around the trail 9 times. Write a fraction greater than 1 for the distance. How namy miles did jeff ride?

Well, [tex]\frac{1}{3} * 9 = 3[/tex]  So he rode [tex]3[/tex] miles, or if they want it as a fraction, it would be [tex]\frac{9}{3}[/tex]
