If you want to improve your muscular endurance, what is the best plan?

Low resistance with high reps
High resistance with low reps

 High rep ranges in your workout regimen if you want to build muscle so it would be high resistance but I dont know if it would be low reps with it or high reps
I think that it would be low resistance with high reps since your going for endurance rather than strength, endurance is about going for a long time regardless of the resistance.
