Well, I'm assuming you didn't know how to add pictures to the question, which in the future please do because it really helps us and others out.
Being that you didn't add answers, I'll just give a good incite and let you choose answers.
Van Gogh is known as a 'Post-Impressionist' but, in my opinion its a really good mix of abstract and realism

Well, some key characteristics about Vincent van Gogh is that he uses post-impressionist and his work often includes beauty, emotion, and color. His most famous painting is "Starry Night".

Jacob Lawrence uses blacks and browns with very vivid colors. He also includes modernist depictions of everyday life and well known historical figures. One of his works is The Life of Toussaint L'Ouverture"
