What is the Growth rate?
The growth rate may be defined as the increase in the number of individuals in a population in a given area in a definite period of time interval.
The growth rate of any population depends on the biotic potential of an individual or the number of adult individuals in a population. Both these two factors significantly play an essential role in enhancing the growth rate of any species or population.
Growing fast only illustrates the rapid alteration in the physical appearance of an individual. It does not have any consequential effect on the growth rate of any population living at any geographical location.
Therefore, according to me, growing fast did not have any effect on the growth rate.
