The legislative branch consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives (congress) which is responsible for passing laws and allowing funding for the 50 states.The judicial branch consists of the United States Supreme Court and lower federal courts. Their responsibility is to hear cases that require a better interpretation; complicated cases.
