a restaurant donated 6 containers of macaroni and cheese to the local soup kitchen. Each container holds 3 gallons. if each customer is served one cup of macaroni and cheese how many customers can be served

The answer is 288 customers can be served because 1 gallon is 16 cups so you have to multiply 16 by 3 because there is 3 gallons in one container which is 48 cups in one container.There is 6 containers so you have to multiply 48 times 6 which is 288 and that will be your answer.                                                                              Hope this helps
