In the story Fahrenheit 451, Mildred had alerted the fire station when the fire broke through. Mildred had left her husband along with her belongings. Mildred's character is cold and devoid of genuine human emotions, hollow and lacks intelligence. Mildred is more attach to fictional characters that she sees on TV rather than the ones she has in real life.
