I think the answer is philosophy. It deals with different ways of unfolding the truth. Different philosophers consider this to have a better place for all. Eastern philosophies are more of the values and happiness that can be derived in search of truth. Western philosophies are focused with a more intellectual and civil approach in interpreting truth.
