There is a total of 4583 melons. Each crate contains 18 melons. So in order to get the number of crates, u just devide the total number of melons by the number of melons in each crate.
number of crates x melons in each crate = total number of melons.
number of crates x 18 = 4583
number of crates = 4583/18 = 254.6 ( u can round it of to 255)
so the total number of crates is 255.
