In "Odes to the Seasons," William Blake uses personification to C. bring the natural world to life to show its effect on people and the world in which they live.
Personification is a figure of speech in which something non-human is given human characteristics. So in this poem, Blake is bringing nature to life, giving it the qualities that only humans can possess in order to portray what impact the natural world may have on humans.

In the poem Ode to the Seasons, William Blake personified each of the four seasons to bring the natural world to life. Each seasonal invocation can be read alone but, Blake intended for them to interconnect. It is most often interpreted as the cycle of life: the cycle of rebirth and death.
