Juliet and her Nurse have been together since Juliet was born. She was the one who nursed Juliet as a baby, and she was with her far more often than Juliet's mother was. This closeness is significant as it is the Nurse who Juliet trusts to relay messages to and from Romeo - It is the Nurse who truly knows and understands the yearnings of Juliet's heart, and who tries her best to help Juliet get what (who) she wants to make her happy.
The nurse was a servant in the Capulet household. The nurse and Juliet have been together since she was first born. She even nursed Juliet as a baby and was more of a mother than Juliet's mother was to her. Their relationship is extremely strong. Juliet lost her trust in the nurse after Lord Capulet ordered Juliet to marry Paris. This is not what Juliet wanted and when she went to the nurse for help, the nurse simply told her to just marry Paris. Juliet lost all trust and belief in the nurse and had to find someone else to rely on whom ended up being Friar Lawrence.
