Vespasian helped rebuild Rome after the Roman Civil War, which was not fought until after Nero's suicide in 68 AD. Vespasian added the temple of Peace and the temple to the Deified Claudius. Trajan did not come to power until 98 AD, more than 30 years after the Fire, although he was a prolific builder.
