What is the differnce between growing plants in hydroponics or soil?

Is there a difference?

How are they different in terms of time required?

How are they different in terms of how big the plant grows?

How are they different in terms of cost?

How do the roots grow differently in each?

Respuesta :

-Hydroponics is just simply growing plants without soil. When using soil, there's so many different soil mixtures.
-There is a difference. The main reason why plants might grow faster in a hydroponic system is b/c the growers can create the ideal blend of nutrients.
-In terms of size, the hydroponic system can only yield larger crops if the grower takes the proper measures.
-In simple terms, cost is the real downgrade to the hydroponics. But it it worth it if you really know what you're doing.
-For the root situation, the Hydroponics save a lot of room since the roots don't have to spread out to find nutrients.
