Based on World Report on Violence and Health created by the World Health Organization (WHO), child homicide records gave a global estimate that pointed on the greatest risk of harm falls under 0-4 years old. This was twice the number of the findings in ages 5-14 years old.
However, a variety of statistical data can be seen differently according to the country's economic status. In high-income countries have lower recorded data on child abuse data compared with middle to lower-income countries which doubled the findings.
