A bag has 6 green balls and 4 yellow balls. What is the probability that 2 balls picked randomly and both of the same color? (THIS IS FROM A TEXTBOOK THE BOOK USED i BUT I DIDNT KNOW WHAT i MEANT)

For green balls: (Number of green balls / Total balls) * (Number of remaining green balls / Remaining total balls)
= (6/10) * (5/9)
For yellow balls: (Number of yellow balls / Total balls) * (Number of remaining yellow balls / Remaining total balls)
= (4/10) * (3/9)
Add these probabilities together:

(6/10) * (5/9) + (4/10) * (3/9) = Resulting probability.
