Respuesta :
Sun heats the ground and the air above it
warm, moist air rises up to meet cold, dry air in skies
heavy rain falls accompanied by thunder and lightening
as moist air moves upward, wind from all sides hit the air, causing it to rotate
If the rotation is string enough, a funnel forms and drops to the ground
Answer:
The following are the steps how a tornado forms are as follows-
- Initially, the ground surface is heated up due to the absorption of incoming solar energy, as a result of which the overlying air also becomes hot.
- This warm air comprising the water content gradually rises up and mixes with the dry cold air present in the upper atmosphere.
- Heavy and intense rainfall occurs and are often to be associated with heavy lightening and thunder.
- The wind blowing from all directions strikes this hot warm air, thereby initiating the wind to rotate and its speed gradually increases.
- Due to this continuous and rapid rotation of wind, it give rise to the formation of funnel shaped rotating wind that eventually touches the ground.
When this wind touches the ground surface, it forms a tornado.
