The British view was they thought the American militia was below
par trained and unsystematic. They also thought the colonists were unusable
because they were reluctant to help the troops.
Other British views were:
-Britain viewed colonies as ungracious children/freeloaders
after the war.
-British viewed themselves as conquerors
-The war left Britain in debt, this liability caused Britain to tax colonies
because of this taxes, colonies become annoyed with Britain and rebelled.
